Paul, the owner of RTS has treated my wife and I very well on two vehicles that needed transmission work. The first time was my Mother In-Law's vehicle. She lives in very rural Siskiyou County. Paul and his crew did a very cost effective rebuild of her transmission in a timely manner. The transmission has been working great for the past two years of heavy use. When we were at the shop for the above repair, we saw many friends coming in for repairs to their vehicles as well. Talked with our friends and found that they have been using RTS exclusively for years. They are all very happy with the work, pricing, and helpfulness. So when the transmission on my truck suddenly went out without warning on our wedding day, we knew where we would be taking the truck. Once again, Paul did a quality repair for a very fair price in a timely manner. Highly recommended!

Excellent work by RTS! I was out working in the foothills and hit a rock, puncturing the transmission pan. I am from southern california. I called around and got Mike who told me to bring it in, they are busy but it might be a quick fix. Paul got involved and did a careful diagnosis of the problem. The pan of course needed to be replaced. More importantly another part inside was bent, and if they could not fix it, I would need a new valve body, the part cost over $1,100 and would take a week to deliver, which Paul thought was ridiculous. He took this on as a challenge to fix the transmission parts without buying a new valve body. He worked hard on it, and in the end was successful! I saved a bunch of money, and they got me back on the road home. Great work, and much appreciated!

These guys are the best!!! We live near Concord, CA. But when the Concord Dodge dealership (after several hundred dollars for diagnostics that didn't identify the problem) said we needed a new computer in the truck (more than $2,000 with no guarantee) we went to RTS (referred by a friend). They fixed it for about $200!!! After complaining to the Bureau of Automotive Repair (the dealership wouldn't listen) we got a full refund. Just recently we went to RTS again for a tranny issue and once again they worked their magic. All fixed!!!!!

The morning I was to leave for Las Vegas with my son's gift (the Charger Superbee) I encountered a transmission shifting problem so I took it to Paul Reed owner of RTS transmission on Hartnell Drive and explained my emergency to him. He dropped everything he was doing (he was very busy) and got the Charger up on a hoist and because he was very familiar with old school transmission linkages he found the problem and spent 2 1/2 hours fixing it! Personally! If not for his help my son would not have gotten his gift at his surprise party so I want to thank Paul and give him and his shop a 10 Star Revue! I will start going to Paul for all of my needs and I hope all of my friends will read this and do the same. Thanks again Paul! You're the man!

I was in quite a hard spot. About 2 years ago I had some MAJOR transmission issues, after going to another shop and paying over $1,000 for more issues and the run around I decided to get a second opinion. Paul at RTS was upfront, very professional, but the best part - he didn't treat me like a stupid girl. The other shop tried to "pull the wool over my eyes" and take advantage of a "poor little girl". Nice try buddy! I contacted Paul, he looked over my transmission and told me that the other shop had put the wrong bolts in, over torqued bolts, and left broken parts. Paul rebuilt my transmission, for a very reasonable price, and has stood behind his work 200%!! He even told me that he will stand behind his work for as long as I own my car. He is a very honest man. He is always very friendly, remembers my face, and I have been recommending him to any and everyone!

RTS Transmission fixed my trans. and showed me exactly why it went out. How the guy I took it to before to do the service had installed the filter incorrectly and how when they told me to drive it to the shop it burned up the clutches in the trans. These guys were friendly, knowledgeable, and all I can say is that I recommend them to anyone needing work on their trans.

RTS transmission is a genuine shop! Paul has helped me numerous times and has built 3 transmissions for me and everyone of them has been more than I could ask for! On more than one occasion, Paul has gone above and beyond for me and everyone that has referred me! I could not recommended a better shop, honest trustworthy and solid work! Stand up guys
